Monday

November 6 , 2006 

  • We are on a regular schedule.
  • Congratulations to the JV Volleyball team who finished second in the Worcester County JV Volleyball Tournament on Friday.
  • ALL CAST AND CREW MEMBERS of Arsenic and Old Lace should report promptly to the gym when the dismissal bell rings…..time is short and we have much to accomplish!
  • Be sure to buy your tickets to watch your classmates in the fall play. Performances will be held on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. You won’t want to miss it!
  • Congratulations to the Emily Moore, Jacob Liechty, and Chrissie Magee for being selected as the starting team for our It’s Academic Team. Adam Timmons and Kip Wharton are the alternates. They will tape their competition on Saturday for a December 16 telecast. See Mrs. Evans if you would like to be in the audience on Saturday (with a chance to appear on TV) to cheer our team to victory.
  • The SGA Fall Canned Food Drive continues until 11/14. Don’t wait until the last minute; bring in non-perishable food items ASAP.
  • Attention Middle School: if you were one of the students who met with Mrs. Mathias after chapel last week, please come to the Media Center by 3:15 today to pick up your info about the discussion/bible study group. Don't forget!
  • Also, if you were one of the High School students who met with Mrs. Mathias after your chapel last week, meet her for lunch today in the Media Center. If you have a lunch order, go get that first, then come up quietly to the Media center.
  • Don’t forget that school is closed on Friday in observance of Veterans Day. We must never forget those who have died to keep us free!

  • It is Election Day. Please encourage your parents to vote on your way home if they have not already done so!

    Messiah College will have an Admissions Counselor here on Tues.11/14, at 1:00.     Hood College will be here on Thurs.11/16; and, Liberty Univ. will be here on Fri. 11/17, around 1:10.  Each College representative can be met in Room 126, with any interested student. Please take advantage of this opportunity.
  • Don’t forget that school is closed on Friday in observance of Veterans Day. We must never forget those who have served in the Armed Services to preserve our freedoms!
