Monday

 

  • Good Morning!  Today is Monday, September 08, 2008.  We are on an activity schedule. 
  • Our Activity today is class meetings.  The class meetings will take place after second period! All HS classes must elect their SGA rep and answer the homecoming survey.  The following are the room assignments for today's class meetings: 12th: Media Center; 11th: MP Room; 10th: Gym; 9th Grade: Room 129
  • Today is the last day for schedule changes!
  • The MS Spiritual Emphasis Days will take place today and tomorrow while the HS Spiritual Emphasis Days will take place on the 10th -12th. 
  • Students may wear appropriate casual or athletic clothes to the Promise Land.  Remember, if in doubt, don’t!
  • We will be on Chapel schedule Wednesday and Thursday this week.  There will be chapels for both the US and MS.
  • ATTENTION ALL ASPIRING THESPIANS, aka actors and actresses.....AUDITIONS FOR OUR FALL PLAY, It's A Wonderful Life, will be held next Monday and Tuesday evenings from 6-9 on the Nehemiah stage.  Casting information has now been posted on the DRAMA bulletin boards across from the school store.  Audition signup sheets are now posted outside Mrs. Mayer's room.  Please note grade level requirements for each role.   Audition scripts will be available today from Mrs. Stuber after school.
  • Support your junior class!  Buy breakfast in the MP room each morning!
  • HS Honors choir auditions will be held @ lunch today and tomorrow.
  • Attention middle school students – Do you have an interest in being a leader in your class?  Do you like to organize and plan social events?  Would you like to represent your fellow classmates? The Middle School student government may be for you!  We will be holding elections for class representatives the week of September 15.  Mrs. Jenkins will be visiting your classrooms soon to speak with you about this wonderful opportunity!
  • Please dismiss Varsity Golf at 2:30 today; cars leave at 2:40 for the match versus Worcester Prep.
  • The Varsity Boys Soccer team plays at Salisbury School today at 4:00.
  • The Varsity Girls Soccer game scheduled for today versus St. Peter and Paul has rescheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday.

Tuesday

  • Today is Tuesday, September 09, 2008.  We are on a regular schedule. 

  • The MS Days continues today while the HS Spiritual Emphasis Days will take place on the 10th -12th.  Please pray for God's blessings!

  • We will be on Chapel schedule Wednesday and Thursday this week.  There will be chapels for both the US and MS.
  • ATTENTION ALL ASPIRING THESPIANS:  Tonight is your last opportunity to audition for our fall play, It's a Wonderful Life.  We really need guys!  Please check out the info on the drama bulletin board and come out at 6PM.  Break a leg!
  • Support your junior class!  Buy breakfast in the MP room each morning!

  • The Varsity Girls Soccer team opens their season today versus St. Peter and Paul.
    The MS and Varsity girls VB and Boys soccer will play Faith Baptist this afternoon. The soccer game will be played at the FBS campus while both VB games will take place at Crown.


Wednesday

  • Today is Wednesday, September 10, 2008. We are on a chapel schedule.

  • The MS and HS Spiritual Emphasis Days will continue today and tomorrow during our chapel times. Classes will take place as normal.

  • The HS students will go to Promise Land on Friday. You may dress in appropriate casual or athletic clothes that day.

  • Support your junior class! Buy breakfast in the MP room each morning!

  • The varsity volleyball team defeated Faith yesterday 3-0.

  • The middle school soccer team will practice today from 4:00 to 5:30 at Fairfield Park.

  • Any Middle school student, grades 6-8, interested in being part of a FCA huddle: There will be a quick kickoff meeting, right after school on Thursday, 9/11/2008, in the Library.

Thursday

  • Today is Thursday, September 11, 2008. We are on a chapel schedule. We will have a moment of silent prayer in chapel today for the families of those who lost their lives in the 9/11 terrorist attack 7 yearrs ago.

  • HS students may dress in appropriate casual or athletic clothes tomorrow. Please remember to bring a lunch or money to purchase one. Your Delmar pizza orders will be brought to Promise Land.

  • All students who auditioned for the fall play must meet in Mrs. Mayers'

    room immediately after school today. Please be sure to talk to Mrs. Stuber or Mrs. Mayers if you cannot make it to this meeting.

  • Please dismiss the varsity boys soccer team at 2:30 today for their game at Worcester Prep. The bus will leave at 2:40.

  • MS soccer practice will begin at 3:15 on our field. Don't be late.

  • Support your junior class! Buy breakfast in the MP room each morning!

  • The HS SGA will meet @ lunch today.

  • If you are using a lock on your locker, you must give Ms. Helene a copy of the key or a copy of the combination.

Friday

  • We are on a regular schedule.  Congratulations, you survived the first week.
  • Remember, all schedule changes must be made by next Monday.
  • The MS Spiritual Emphasis Days will take place next week on Monday and Tuesday while the HS Spiritual Emphasis Days will take place on the 10th -12th. 
  • MS students may wear appropriate casual or athletic clothes to the Promise Land.  Remember, if in doubt, don’t!
  • All student drivers must register your car ASAP.  Students who registered their vehicles last year only need to verify and initial your previous registration if no changes have been made. Students will park out back. The back door will be locked at 8:00 AM. Students are not to go to their cars during the day without permission from the office.
