High School Guidance Program

The High School Guidance Program provides academic, career, social and personal guidance to the entire high school student body. The counselor’s responsibilities include counseling students and families regarding academics and other issues, coordinating and implementing groups & programs, acting as a mediator when necessary, conducting classroom activities, scheduling students for classes, and working with teachers to aid them in their endeavors to ensure academic success for their students. In addition, the counselor is the testing coordinator for the PSAT, EXPLORE, ASVAB, and Advanced Placement exams.  The high school guidance counselor also assists students with the college application process.
