Early Childhood

Program Overview

Qualified and passionate teachers along with teacher assistants welcome students to a world of exploration and learning, while providing loving Christian care and high quality Christian education. Students will have the opportunity to develop age-appropriate skills such as fine motor development, social interaction, and communication. Additionally, preparation for kindergarten is fostered through exposure to and discovery of early literacy and reading readiness skills.

Age Eligibility

Age is a factor used to determine admission for students entering pre-kindergarten and   kindergarten. Please refer to the chart below for the appropriate birth date deadline for your child. These dates are consistent with guidelines established by the state of Maryland. Our experience has shown that children in these age groups are generally more successful academically and socially when these guidelines are followed.

  • Pre-K 3: Age 3 by 9/1 of current school year
  • Pre-K 4: Age 4 by 9/1 of current school year
