The Salisbury Christian School Athletic Department serves as a vital part of our school culture as it cultivates focused, respectful, God-honoring student-athletes who strive to accomplish four goals:
- learn the fundamentals of their sport
- grow in their love of the game
- foster the "team first" mentality
- develop as godly men and women
The SCS Jaguars compete in the Eastern Shore Independent Athletic Conference (ESIAC) against Delmarva Christian High School, The Gunston School, Holly Grove Christian School, Saints Peter and Paul School, Saint Thomas More Academy, The Salisbury School, and Worcester Preparatory School.

Mr. CJ Huntington
Director of Athletics
Mr. CJ Huntington joined the SCS Athletic Department in August 2016, bringing with him a strong background in coaching and - as a 2012 SCS graduate - a love for SCS athletics. CJ earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Salisbury University in 2015, supplementing this degree with a minor in Athletic Coaching. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Professional Studies in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University.
CJ has served as the SCS Varsity Track and Field coach since 2013 and the Varsity Boys Soccer coach since 2017. Mr. Huntington's background in exercise science has proven beneficial to the SCS athletic department as he formerly served as the Director of Programming and Training at Havas Athlete Academy and is a certified exercise physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine.
Life has come full-circle for Mr. Huntington as he leads the athletic department in which he once played as an athlete and as he lives in Salisbury with his wife Pamela, who graduated from SCS in 2013.
