Current Job Openings

Salisbury Christian School is seeking an innovative and relational leader to serve as the Lower School Principal.  This full-time, year-round position oversees all aspects of the educational and operational programming of PreK 3 through Grade 5.  A successful candidate must hold a master’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of elementary teaching experience; 3 years of school administration or supervisory experience strongly preferred.  Applicants should be prepared to articulate an active faith in Jesus Christ, demonstrate exemplary oral and written communication skills, and possess an outstanding understanding of effective practices in elementary education.  Additional details can be found here.  Administrator Application and supporting documents required.

Salisbury Christian School is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and nurturing individual to serve as the Director of Extended Care.  This part-time position oversees all components of before and after school programs at SCS.  A successful candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in education or child development and should be prepared to articulate an active faith in Jesus Christ.  Additional details can be found here.  Staff Application and supporting documents required.

Salisbury Christian School is seeking energetic, student-centered individuals to serve as substitute teachers.  In this position, successful candidates will fill in for absent teachers by implementing lesson plans, monitoring student work, and serving as a resource for students.  Bachelors degree preferred but not required.

A successful candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in English, education, or a closely related field; master’s degree and three years of teaching experience preferred.  Upper level high school courses offered at SCS include American Literature, British Literature, AP Language, and AP Literature, in addition to elective offerings.  Applicants should be prepared to articulate an active faith in Jesus Christ and demonstrate the ability to engage secondary students in active learning through varied approaches to teaching.  Additional details can be found here.  Teacher Application and supporting documents required.
