What is Scrip?
Scrip is a term that means "substitute money." Purchase gift cards
through SCS that are used just like cash. You can use these cards to buy
every day items like groceries (Giant, Superfresh, Food Lion), clothing, gas,
movie tickets (Regal theatre), building supplies (Lowes, Home Depot), etc.
Many of our local restaurants are on the retailer listing. For specific questions regarding the Scrip program call the business office at 410-546-0661 or email the Business Manager.
Who Can Use it?
You, your friends, family, spouse's coworkers, neighbors, etc... By ordering scrip cards through SCS, you can
earn money against your tuition costs or other fees.
For example: You purchase a $40 Chili's gift card (11%),
and $30 worth of Regal movie tickets (8%) and $50 Giant card (4%).... The
total earned for that order is $8.80. SCS will split the proceeds with you.... You get $4.40 and the school gets $4.40. "It all adds
up." The more you use the scrip cards for everyday purchases, the
faster your savings will add up! At the end of the school year (or sooner
if needed) SCS's business manager will let you know how much you have earned so you can deduct
it from your next tuition payment or re-registration fee.
How Do I Order?
Scrip Order Form Fill the form out and attach a check
written out to SCS and send it into the Business Office. Orders are placed twice a month on the 15th and the 30th. If the date falls on a weekend, SCS
waits until Monday to place the order. It takes approximately 3 days to
receive the order. The business office will call or email you to let you know your order is
ready to be picked up.
