• Menu: Cheese, Fruit & Vegetable display Crab Soup, Fried Chicken, Pulled Pork, rolls, pasta salad & Smith Island Cake for dessert!
• Tickets on sale at SCS: $30 per person / $60 per couple

While the committee recognizes that the economy is not good, we are reminded that God is great and He will bless our efforts no matter what amount is raised. This is our largest fundraiser for the school and we need everyone’s participation to make it a success. Thank you in advance for your support as we strive to find creative ways to raise funds to enhance all our children’s education.

Listed below you will find our basket themes and classroom projects. We are once again asking for family’s to participate by donating an item for their students’ classroom basket. Baskets will be created using donations that are brought in. All items need to be turned in to your students’ classroom NO LATER THAN Thursday March 11th. All students who participate will receive an OUT OF UNIFORM PASS.

If you are pressed for time and would like our basket committee to “shop” for you, you may also make a monetary donation for your student.

Basket Themes

(SCS parents...remember, a donation to your student's basket by March 11 earns them an out of uniform pass!)

Mrs. Waddell - Inspirational - devotionals, books, bible, candle, motivational books, pens, markers, study materials, cd’s…

Mrs. White - Chocolate Lovers - anything chocolate!!!!

Mrs. Katzaman - Beach Party - anything for fun @ the beach; large cooler (need 1), swim noodles, suntan lotion, blankets, boogie board, Frisbees, football, sand toys, beach umbrella, gift certificates to your favorite place at the beach!

Mrs. Mosier - Family Fun Nite - Games, gift certs. for pizza/dinner out, movies/movie tickets, fun food items (fondue, smores, etc.), restaurant gift cards…

Mr. Lamkin - "Techno Basket" - anything for the techi; paper, flash drive, ipod/ipod accessories, headset, games for xbox, wii, head sets, cd’s, jewel cases, cd case..(or to keep things simple…everyone donates to buy an ipod? Small but goody!)

1st Grade - "Guys Nite or Day Out" - Anything dad would like for an outting; gift card for dinner, tickets/accessories for sporting events, football, baseball, soccer ball, fishing stuff, cd’s…

2nd Grade - "Get Your Head in the Game" – This basket will contain all your favorite sport items! Balls of all kinds, bats, racquets, water bottles, seat cushions, Gatorade, jump ropes, etc…

3rd Grade - "Rise & Shine" Basket - gift cards for breakfast, coffee products, tea items, Panera, DeVages, Fracured Prune.....Pancakes and scone mixes, coffee mugs….

4th Grade - "Mom's Day Off" - Pampering Mom items; facial, manicure/pedicure gift certs, Bath & Body Works stuff, candles, restaurant gift cards…

5th Grade - "Cooking & Entertaining Maryland Style" - Local cookbooks, crabs, smith island cake, anything representing the Eastern Shore, crab mallets, restaurant gift cards, anything with a crab on it or Maryland or the Bay…

Middle School –
"Beautiful Backyards" - Garden Shop items, containers, patio items, gift cards, wheelbarrow…
“BBQ/Tailgate” - camp style chairs, melanine dishes, small grill, cooler….
"Home Improvement" - tools, gift cards, small rugs, items for redecorating or redoing your home!

High School –
“Bad Hair Day" - styling products, blow dryer, bag, curling iron, hair straightener, salon products, gift cards
"Date Nite" - movie tickets, dinner gift cards, popcorn, candles,
"Dorm Life" - anything to get those seniors ready for college!
