SCS is Host Site for Succeed 2010

Parents of college-bound students....especially current parents of high school juniors and seniors, listen to this statistic: Today 70% of students walk away from the church during the transition into college and 26% drop out of college before the end of their freshmen year of college. What can we do to prepare our students for this major transition in their lives?......

.....The Youth Transition Network and Focus on the Family have joined forces and have created a seminar/ webcast titled "Succeed 2010." At this time SCS is the only site to host this national event in Maryland. It will be held on February 27th, noon to 5:30. REGISTER NOW by clicking the Succeed banner below......Once you are at the website, click on the "Succeed" banner...the link to register is on the bottom right side of the page.

Join us for the Focus on the Family / YTN College Prep SUCCEED webcast on Saturday, Feb 27th. This is the best way to prepare your high school junior or senior to reverse the 70-88% loss from the faith in college.

SCS Receives Full Dual-Accreditation

Salisbury Christian School holds dual accreditation status through the Association of Christian Schools International and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. This achievement is the rewarding culmination of many years of systematic review of the organization. SCS received the highest rating and was granted a seven year term of accreditation through both prestigious associations.

The accreditation process involved extensive evaluation of every area of the school including: school philosophy, admissions, governance, finance, personnel, instructional program, library, media resources, technology, student activities, guidance services, health services, transportation, food services, safety and crisis planning, facilities, and community relations.

We are proud that two outstanding external associations validate that SCS has historically met stringent standards, and is committed to continuing the process of systematic improvement over the course of the next seven years!
